Since its inauguration in 1961, the Philamlife Theater has been the premiere venue for many artistic performances. With a seating capacity of 737, the theater is most admired for its near-perfect acoustics making it an ideal venue for classical concertos, recitals, and musical productions.
The state-of-the-art acoustics is made by Bolt, Beranek & Newman, the same group who built the acoustics for the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
Through the years, the theater has also become a popular venue for important conferences, graduation rites, including competitions like the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), and awarding ceremonies like the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Awards. |
